Tube Bender Features & Options EXPLAINED - What you NEED vs what you WANT

Our M600 line of tubing benders have a broader application range and greater wall thickness capacity than nearly any other tube bender on the market. Deciding on the options to start with can be challenging, so we made this video to make it EASY to tell exactly what every option is and why you may (or may not) need them.
Unlike machines from companies like JD2, Baileigh, the M600 can CONVERT into a true mandrel bender. You can also jump from a 601 to a 605 (HD capacity) machine with just some basic hardware to convert the machine. The M605 seems like the best bang for buck option, small cost upgrade from the M601 and the M625 is a bit overkill for hobbyist amature like me. Also pressure roller die is a no brainer upgrade.

Bobby- absolutely. The 605 cab bend 1.75 x .250 wall, go up to 2" tube, etc. It's a real affordable workhorse! And we do love the rollers for a great affordable upgrade for sure ;)

Hey I’m looking at ordering a bender/ mandrel bender at the end of the summer. Mostly for building custom exhausts on motorcycles. Would one of these + mandrel attachment work? Or are these more for chassis/ roll cages?

We've sold them to several motorcycle exhaust companies. They work really well in the common 1.5" to 1.75" motorcycle exhaust sizes. They can also work on 1.875 and 2.0 depending on the alloy and wall thickness for exhaust. -Joe

Awesome video! One Q? I recently received my 7/8 - 3/4 dies 2.5r. Do I need to drill new holes for the 2.5 location?

What is difference between the M605 and M625, benders? I have the Tradesmen set, that is about two years old. Can it be upgraded?

3/4 pin vs 7/8 pin and the m625 (formally the XHD) has a thicker frame. This is something that cannot be upgraded. - Josh in customer service

I'm planning on bending mostly heavy wall tube (.250"); Is the roller die or pressure die better for that application?

On bigger OD applications for .250 wall (like 1.75+), we recommend standard pressure dies. They're stronger, but it only matters on the big stuff :) -Joe
