how is there less stations now than 1960? there no jubilee or vic line then?

No East London Line, most if the Jubilee was either Metropolitan or Bakerloo. Also various other bits have disappeared such as the line from Epping to Ongar

According to Wikipedia, there were 273 stations on the Tube in 1960 while there are 270 today

Yes it is but his least favourite tube challenge wise is Olympia
