@@thetexaspitbull I hear that! It is definitely out of place and kills the flow of the tailgate. I honestly contemplate shaving the emblems off too. That is usually my first “mod” for the dailys.

Had a buddy with a 2000 lightning back in the day his was pretty stock far as handling mods but it had an intake headers full exhaust 4.10s tune pulley etc...thing was prob doin 400/500 if i was guessing it would step out sideways on his 18 inch street tires at 35 mph and even at 55 it would break traction some when he punched it and that thing pulled hard....the stock handling was just as impressive to me it is quite amazing...you would never think a stock full size truck could handle like that ecspecially from 20 years ago lol. These things are super impressive. We pulled to 140+ on a road that i dont even like hitting those speeds on that road in my mustang...this thing was cruisin along like a cadi lol...felt floaty but very stable considering the speed. Amazing truck man!

Yeah man, these things were incredible for the time. Definitely the best sport truck for that era. I wish Ford made a newer version of the Lightning. Thanks for watching!

Man, wish the bed on my 01 ⚡ looked that nice. We need more repo parts for our trucks. Obviously LMR has us covered for a lot of stuff but my truck, which was my dad's daily, needs bunch of new parts but I'm having trouble finding parts, everything is freaking expensive to boot. Definitely needs a bigger brakes SUPER expensive, a new steering wheel, clips for my ground effects, etc......

I got an 02 red one and I built a custom speaker box for it but who did the box for that truck did you say it's a pancake what do you say it was? I know you said you had JL subs in it but truck looks really good man I did 13 in performance friction two piece floating rotors on the front of mine was stainless steel braided lines all the way around she'll stop pretty good. I did the John Hotchkis total vehicle suspension on mine that's leafs coils sway bars steer with the rear basically but it's all right I love the coilovers on the rear of that thing that's sweet.I like the four link a lot. I got a s*** ton of miles on mine but that's what I bought it for is to drive it it's the fourth engine in it pushing 14 lb of boost, American racing long tube headers I forget what size primaries but high flow cats MagnaFlow cat back, EGR delete, Diablo chip, CNL elbow ,10° cooler thermostat, Davies Craig intercooler pump with a lot higher flow, high flow fuel pumps of course the NGK TR6 plugs with the I had to go in and do the threaded inserts on all the spark plug holes in the heads because they're s*** from factory four threads what was for that Ford thinking? Over the years I've learned a cold air and detonation are not your friends. Anywho nice Ride man
