Hi everyone 😀, I hope you enjoy this episode, I’m trying to challenge people to think non-tribally and intelligently about the intersection of faith and geopolitics. Please like, share, subscribe, and leave a comment or question. Otherwise, check out other programs on the channel like Nazareth to Nicaea (on early Christology), Ancient Texts and Traditions (on church history), Birds of a Feather (on church and gender). Didnt expect resonable commentary from a channel titled early Christian history, fair play

Funny reasonable is my new walk of life. As for channel title, are we to assume reasonable commentary anywhere on this platform? Is not responsible subjective, like in my case whereas I seek any biblical scholar or historian to address the fact how the Orthodox after gaining the backing of Empire went forth and exterminated the competition. The first group to be sought out and burnt at the state along with any Hebrew or Aramaic test found in their possession was the Ebionites. This Jewish sect, likely the remnants of Jesus friends & family & commonly called Judaizers rejected Paul, the divinity of Christ & the virgin birth, they just had to go. No one dares talk about this history.

Interesting.. you kinda articulate what I sorta feel like should be the Christian perspective? Like.. here in America I get the vibe that #1 people aren’t REALLY all the geopolitically literate.. or #2 up on history. For me… I’ve been listening to Timothy Synder and and Stephen Kotkin for my history (i am a rest is history fan too though).. But I fear being so uninformed makes people more vulnerable to manipulation AND.. we’re basically all living on the battlefield of an information war.. But.. the Putin interview was interesting. I sorta felt like it’s plausible it could have backfired on Putin.. he made the justification for invasion much more about history and the claim Ukraine isn’t a real country.. and to add to that.. to blame WW2 on Poland.. when I thought we all knew about the Stalin Hitler pack for dividing up Poland? Like I just think that’s a much weaker position to try and argue from then “oh, it’s all western hegemony’s fault.” And then Putins want to play the strong man owning Carlson for his domestic audience.. it was as if this was more important then trying to effect the political realities underlying support for Ukraine. Maybe I’m being to hopeful in thinking that… the need of Ukraine to ration munitions is.. not helping their potential bargaining position…so I mean.. one can feel a little desperate for good news sometimes?

Liberal democracies are most conducive for Christians? Is that so, in Australia and NZ? The "tyranny of the 51 (percent)" in the West has been terrible, made worse by social media. So the dreaded "51" is made worse with the most "likes", thumbs up, virtue signalling, cancel culture , etc.

It was a good interview to see what Putin believes. He showed what Putins interest is in his security and willingness to seek peace. Trump will likely be our president, and many conservatives will likely win out across the globe this year. No conservative here is a fan of Putin, we don’t think Zelinsky is much better. Nobody said anything when Russia invaded in 2014 and today is just the extension of that. We need to strengthen our dollar and support other countries in establishing their own militaries. We have been facing autocracy here for almost 4 years, enough

Ok. 4 minutes and 39 seconds into ypur video. You have clearly let other people do your thinking. I have history books, in my library, that go back almost 200 years. I read the entries on Russian history and origin, and guess what. The president of Russia told the truth about the origin of his nation.
