I've never been able to find out anything about Robert's accident, except that his injuries were the sort that are nearly always fatal. The only change I've noticed in him physically since this dance is to his face. He obviously had to have some facial reconstruction done. He still can't make certain facial expressions in an entirely normal way, though to be sure he's still very handsome and engaging, one of my favorite dancers ever from this show.
