Just a little comment as per your request. Nice even flow and very relaxed, felt like I was sitting on the other side of the bench, well done. Liked the length and the general conversation points.

A friend just gave me a box of this for Christmas. When we get together we smoke mostly english/balkan. I had never tried it before. It came out of the box extremely moist and required about an hour drying time after being rubbed out. The nicotine level is pretty potent, but, in my opinion the tobacco tasted very smooth compared to what I was expecting. The flavor does change for the better if you let it sit about 30 minutes after the initial light, which is also true with most pipe tobacco. Good job on the video!

I agree drying time is a good idea. It is definitely a sting blend but has a great flavor. Thanks for watching…….

This is actually chewing tobacco. Made for the mine workers. They couldn’t light a pipe in some mines. Explosion hazard. We are using it as pipe tobacco.This is a great tobacco.🤝🤝👍👍✌️

@@atnoahshouse never had that. In Romania there is almost nothing else but cigarettes. Trying American chewing tobacco was one one of my biggest dreams. Now that Romania is int the fascist European Union there is no chance to do that. In Eu it is illegal even to buy tobacco from other EU state. It is crazy here. And a 50gr tin of pipe tobacco is 32$. One month salary about 600$. 🤝🤝👍👍

I absolutely love that stuff. Lately it has been sold out practically everywhere online, so I guess a lot of people like it.

I was wondering that as well. Mostly all of there tobaccos are always sold out. Maybe just small production batches. Luckily there is a great B&M shop by me that has some great blends in stock.

Hi from sunny South Africa. Thanks for the upload. I've just finished my tin, which took quite a while. This is possibly overwhelming in its taste, BUT when used in small quantities mixed with another blend it is excellent. It might sound disgusting, but I can explain the taste as meaty....like the grease left over on a BBQ grid.
@atnoahshouse2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I have heard a few people say that they got a meaty taste. I agree it is a potent blend. I have thought about blending it as well. Hey send some sun over here we are still cold, rain, and grey......

Like absolutely all pipe tobacco is cased with sugar. But that is it. If you want to try more great Virginia try Gawith Hoggarth bright CR flake or best brown no 2. 👍

Great vid Noah. Thanks a lot. One question? Do you rubbed it out in a very small pieces or just rubbed it out a little bit? Have a great week.
@atnoahshouse2 жыл бұрын
I’ve rubbed it out both fine and course. Both ways worked good but I like it more course. Super nicotine hit with this blend

How does it compare to MacBarren bold Kentucky I wonder?
@atnoahshouse2 жыл бұрын
I personally do not care for the Macbarens bold Kentucky. I even have purchased some recently just to see if my pallet has changed and it hasn’t. The Black XX to me is a deep and intriguing blend. Definitely stands out from the Kentucky. But it does carry quite a Nicotine hit so keep that in mind. A great after dinner smoke with a coffee. Thanks for watching and for the comment…….

Just stumbled on the channel. I love pipes but put them down after many tries that inevitably resulted in tongue bite. I was a heavy cigarette smoker at the time which may have contributed to the burn. I have since given up cigarettes and have been smoking and aging cigars and have been yearning the taste of a pipe. I don’t know if I was smoking too fast but I smoke cigars slowly. Any advice I’d appreciate. There is a Boswells pipe shop about 45 minutes from me I would travel to to make a purchase.
@atnoahshouse2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the view and the comment. I also smoked cigars but not as much as I once did. I have a couple of humidors and just try to have so Premium ones on hand. I get them mostly direct from Tampa or online. As far as Pipe smoking goes I know what you mean about the BITE. I too experienced that. A lot has to do with the type of tobacco and cadence. I would suggest to stay away from the aromatics which are heavy with sugars and burn hot. Peter Stokkebye's English luxury is a cool burning smoke and if you can make a trip to Boswell's then they will definitely offer sage advise. Give there countryside a try or if an aromatic is still something your after the try Boswell's Cupcake. It is incredible. They also for sure have an incredible selection of pipes. Try smokingpipes.com or pipesandcigars.com for some more budget friendly pipes and the both offer some great starter kits. One more thing I would do is check out Muttnchop pipers channel he is the best when it comes to the basics. Thanks for watching like subscribe and share, I have different things always going on......Gardening, Pipes, RV, various projects. Have a good weekend.......................

I read somewhere that this blend tastes like meat which is kind of a strange comparison but I was surprised to find it's accurate. I tasted hints of charred steak. Lots of relights for me. Been a while so gonna have to pack this for my next bowl...

Ok now that is strange. I will definitely need to pack up another bowl and see if I can also get that note. Thanks for the view and comment.
