Thanks Dr. Levi! You're literally the only tropical weather meteorologist I watch. And I'm always trying to get you new subscribers this time of the year! Appreciate your dedication and time explaining everything in such detail!

Because I live 60 miles NNW of New Orleans, I value the videos on this channel. The videos help me decide whether to stay or to go. I will ride this one out. The highest compliment I can give Levi is that he is the modern day version of Nash Roberts. Those from New Orleans will understand. Thank you for what you do.

"In either case, a hurricane hits the coastline" these are the words we don't want to ever hear from Levi, but luckily we are getting some warning. Prepare now friends

Monitoring this storm in Illinois. We are under a drought and our grass is yellow and brown. From where I live, haven't had a drop in rain in several days, been over a week. Francine looks like it'll bring some much-needed rain to us. Stay safe for those in Louisiana and surrounding areas!

My contractor after Hurricane Zeta replaced my roofing with cheap 60 M.P.H. shingles from Home Depot with the contractor discount. They don't even reflect heat, but absorb heat, my home is like an oven during the summer, and can't overcome the heat load. My central air conditioner runs constantly. My electric bill is outrageous. He chose the cheapest shingles to install to make the most profit even after purchasing them in bulk lots with the contractor discount. That company purchased them by the pallet load.

Will the increased wind shear near landfall increase the risk of tornadoes?

I flew to PR to shut my hurricane metal window protectors and get everything ready just in case!!! It was supposed to be a steady dangerous hurricane season with record breaking warm ocean temperatures. But instead it's been the opposite! Which is good news.My feeling is that by the last week of September and October it's going to get very very bad!! I hope it doesn't get bad.Being without electricity and water for long weeks is no joke.Specially the elderly and sick folks suffer the most..stay safe everyone!! One Love!!!❤peace ✌

The convective blob to the north of Francine looks like it could form into it's own separate storm if conditions were favorable.

This is how you report on hurricanes. The Weather Channel jockeys save up adrenaline all year waiting for hurricanes and hop around purveying hysteria when one develops.

Legal disclaimers have been dropped, again. Another excellent report. On debate night no less. Who can forget sharpie gate? One of the lowest points in bald faced lying.
