Thank you so much for sharing all these tips. They're really helping and inspiring. I'd like to do more abstract painting, but I find it harder than a realistic painting. You're reminding me of having fun during the process and explore more. The hardest thing for me is to stop in time. Your work is so balanced and I realize again that less is more🙏

This has been very helpful, thank you. I came back from a holiday in Ireland with hundreds of photos of stone walls! I want to use them as references and jumping points for some work, but I get a very dark version of what I experienced - maybe I need to have a lighter hand, especially with my ArtGraf (which I love) and save my woodies and Inktense Blocks for much later. Thank you!

Mount a gutter or picture shelf below your painting area and roll up old papers or a towel to catch drips.ikea has cheap shelves

Hi, just starting to watch and learn about markings and layers. So interesting. I’m curious about your wall, what’s holding up your canvases, thumb tacks? They all seem evenly spaced obviously for different sizes. In the process of making a painting room and was wondering and looking for ideas. Would appreciate to know about your set up.

Hi Pauline, thank you for all the great videos, I love the mix of talking/explaining ones along with watching you work. I know some people use gesso as a base, and others don't. Is there a reason why you used gesso at this point in the painting as opposed to white paint?
