This isn't super important but just wanted to clarify, instead of calling the guy "old man" she called him "oppa" which is a term used for guys who you are close with that are older than you if you are a girl (for guys they say "hyung", girls call older girls they're close with "unni" and boys call them "noona" ). There are many deeply upsetting scenes in this show, but when the man who was angry about not getting his food was beaten and kicked, and not a single person even told the gangster to stop, I was hating everyone (except the victim). The same thing happened when the bully attacked the girl in ep 1. No one intervened. Upsetting.

I feel like for the tug of war game, the rules only said to pull the flag to your side. Using that logic, they could have lowered the other team down and both lived letting the flag be on the team's side that was being lowered so they wouldn't lose.

Just FYI at 16:53 Han Mi-nyeo (The woman with the cigs in her... *****) called the Gangster, (dont remember his name), "Oppa". Oppa does NOT mean "Old Man". It's more like "Older Brother". It's a term of endearment. Its mostly (but not exclusively) used by females and referrs to "older" (not by too much) people they like. It's also used for boyfriends and sometimes even husbands. In this instance she is trying to get closer to him (presumably to get a better hierachichal position in the group.). I don't know why it was translated as "Old man". It doesn't quite make sense to me.
