I had to laugh so many times throughout this interview, it brought back so many memories of Guro Dan back when he opened the Torrance Academy, I was one of the only girls in class back then and I would ask questions and those long answers and at the time I felt so lost but Guro Dan's brain was just spinning a hundred miles a minute, he was awesome then too, I love Guro Dan as a teacher and as a human being and I have missed him for many years, he mentioned me, not by name but by situation, in his first book and I was truly honored. I hold Guro Dan right up there with John LaCosta, both brilliant martial artist but more so wonderful honorable men. I was blessed to be with Guro Dan back in those discovery days of all the old Filipino Masters, I was already in love with Jeet Kune Do and Bruce Lee so everything else was just more magic.
