You guys probably know this already, but your viewers that may not know, West Marine, (notorious for high prices), is great about matching prices! Hi Billy & Sierra, I just wanted to say that I think you guys are awesome. I love how much hard work you both do and always with a smile. Most people want things handed to them these days. You are a great example of what a little elbow grease can accomplish. I'm originally from Long Island and live on Clearwater Beach now. Sailing is a little too much work for me, so I'm having a Sirena 58 built for me. Can't wait for it to be finished. Awlgrip is a pain in the butt to work with, and expensive, but it’s worth it. We did our entire topsides in AwlGrip off-white last year and we have been very pleased with how it still looks as good as it did when we put it on. Your boat is looking really good! Can’t wait to see y’all back on the move!

I've seen others use Davis's Fiberglass Stain Remover FSR to clean up stained fiberglass- not sure of a maintenance cleaner but FSR has worked miracles on those boats.

You should check into how sails can be taken care of by washing and sealing them. There companies that do that. It will make your sails last a long time if you do the proper cleaning as the years go by.

I understand, my light air 155 i had made of nylon spinnaker material ,relatively inexpensive to buy as material costs are low. Also checkout maj and pop sailmakers in NC SC GA as there more likely to cut you a break to have there name on your sail.travel safe and fast😁

We love the channel and happy you guys found your soulmate so early... two questions..1. we just got a new (to us) trimaran and need to get tramps... l love the blue.... but does it get hot? 2. the 1/2 nets for jetty. where did you find them or did you cut them short?... my husband has been full time sailing traveling for 18 years I've been with him for 6... so careful it's addicting...lol btw..... we know your boat from Riverside marina...that is where we have found some of our best boat finds! happy sailing🤗

Hey! Thanks for the comment. We love the tramp and have never felt it get even close to too warm even on the sunniest days with now wind. We got the nets at west marine. I think sailrite sells them as well. we didnt cut them we just attached them at a lower height and pulled them snug forward. This makes them snug even at a shorter height without cutting them and you actually get a lot more length out of them this way.. So funny you knew our boat at Riverside! Did you know Reggie?? What kind of tri did you get?

we never actually met Reggie...we just looked at the boat when we were looking for one of our boats.. we buy cheap, remodeling them using them, flipping them repeat..lol....it keeps us on the water...We have a 43 ft x 25 ft hortsman...biggest boat we have ever had... almost too much storage if possible...lol. can't believe we may have found a keeper....we just redid the decks so not so pretty right now and then are adding a 5ft bowsprit with the tramps extending out...so l got to pick the color he got to pick the design and extra 5 ft... l love the blue... l will try to figure out how to send you the link to the pop yachts add... my husband introduced me to your channel... it's the first time my husband has ever really talked highly of someone off a channel like yours..with praise..he thinks you are a respectful, humble young man and you remind him a lot of how he started out on the water... and we love seeing a true love story..lol ... if you ever meet him you will see he is an amazing man that is almost infectious to be around...and knows a lot about boats... diesels...engines.. fiberglass ...a lot..a little intimidating sometimes..lol...in any case it is a huge compliment...
