Sometimes, the fun of these builds is to imagine how far you could get into them, in an actual game, before someone caught on to what you were building. In this case, I think it would be up to the exact point where you go "I pick my *bite* as a Kensei Weapon!" :P

This is almost like a Monk with the mentality of a Barbarian: Approach, bite, bite again if problem isnt solved. Could honestly be a fun concept for a one shot. Also, getting closer and closer being able to smash brothers in D&D.

Named after the sound of opening and closing the mouth might sound dumb, but this round boy grows beyond that to become an icon of running from ghosts, I don’t look for such recognition when I make my Tangle the lemur build from Sir Tulok requests, i only hope for the dream to become true, while not falling short on the 256th try. Created by Tōru Iwatani, Pac-man doesn’t need an introduction, inspired on a pizza with a missing slice and grandpa of kirby in terms of eating, giving Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde (sometimes Sue too) a run for their money, this yellow ball with eyes really became an icon that, while he failed to find a niche outside of his classic game, everyone remember and love.

Quite impressive how you were able to take a simple concept and make a whole dnd character about it. I personally do not like the Charger feat for this build since you can just use your bonus action to dash and action to bite instead, which gives you 2 attacks instead of 1. Granted it does take a single Ki point. Still, increasing Wis or Con or the Tough feat or something would likely be better

I'd say multiclass 2 levels ranger, favored enemy undead, and pick up hunter's mark and good berry (fruit) without using a feat. Take Mobile over Charger for more Waka since Pac has Step of the Wind. And take Tavern Brawler with the freed up slot, for a small boost to Con, and because of a Fire Hydrant isn't an improvised weapon, I don't know what is.

my first thought in this was a beast barb monk build. Strong combo and the beast barb rage to bite thing sounds like a great way to play into the fact you cant bite the ghosts until you power up. And when you power up they run away to end your rage

You can't actually make bite attacks using your dexterity. The official rules are "You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes and monk weapons" The important phrase there is "instead of strength." Your bite attack doesn't use strength, it uses constitution, so you cannot replace it with dexterity.

Easy way to make World 2 and 3 Pac-Man, is from Monk 14, give him 6 levels for Lore Bard, make Charisma 13 and Con 10, of Lore Bard, get Earth Tremor for the Super Stomp Power-Pellet, Fireball for the explosion effect of the Ribbon Loop Power-Pellet, Enlarge/Reduce for the Shrink Power-Pellet as well as the Super Pellet (which is his Final Smash), Shield of Faith for the Chrome Power-Pellet, and Witch Bolt for the Electro-Shock Power-Pellet. As well as Vicious Mockery for Pac-Man’s incredible sass in World 3 Edit: Thunderclap and Thunderwave from bard for the Butt-Bounce. The darts can be changed into ball bearings and a sling to get the Pac-Dot Attack. And take the Charger feat for Rev-Roll. Honestly, bard does so much to build world games Pac-Man, getting spells most classes would’t give him at the same time, jack of all trades because he’s not exactly bad at anything, and for the instrument thing? Uhhh Pac-Man World 2 and 3’s music is jamming. (Mostly 2 imo)

Incidentally, having dart as a Kensei weapon and charger as a feat add the dot throw, butt bounce, and rev roll from the Pac-Man World series. Could also have a sling for the Sling Shot from Pac-Man 2 for the Genesis. And trade in Monk 20 for Barbarian 1 and have Rage be your version of a power pellet.

Hmm… maybe a sling for the ranged kensei weapon? There’s one game where you guide him around with one of those. I’d say just tossing rocks would be closer as there’s another Pac game where he can chuck the pellets he picks up at enemies, but I don’t know if you can make “throw rocks” a kensei weapon.

I know this is the Super Smash Bros version of Pacman but he is a mecha pilot in super robot wars so perhaps vehicle proficiency would be useful, at the very least you may find a suspiciously Pac Man shaped apparatus of khalish.

Not to be that Debbie Downer, but you can’t use your Dex for bite attacks. Martial Arts specifically states you can use “dex instead of strength” on your monk weapons, you can’t use dex instead of con.
