"Tum Jo Mile To Laga Hai Jaise" - Presenting on request, the beautiful collaboration of Suresh Wadkar, Javed Akhtar and Rahul Dev Burman for the 1992 Ram Gopal Verma's film DROHI. One of the under-appreciated composition of R. D. Burman. The on-screen actors were Nagarjuna & Urmila Matondkar. The Tamil version is "Enn Anbe Nee" - S.P. Balasubramaniam. There's no original LP record release of this soundtrack. The uploaded song is an extract from Drohi audio cd which underwent digital remastering at our end. *PLEASE USE HEADPHONES.*

Perhaps this is one of the least heard compositions of PANCHAM DA. I feel that at some places in this song, there is a slight feel of the 'Jhankaar Beats' of the 1990s. Still, from today's point of view this composition sounds better. Suresh Wadekar's singing is good & impressive. Apart from the singing aspect, tabla playing (Tabla Vadan), Santoor & Bass Guitar sounds attract me more. Presenting these colors of PANCHAM DA'S music and also sharing the untouched or less accessible compositions here on this channel is a wonderful work in itself. Panchamda had a treasure of gems (I mean to say tunes, music compositions)💎 in his treasury, it was his bad time going on , so he couldn’t deliver , till 1942 A love story came, but he was not there to see the grand success to his historical creation .

It was it is popular in 1992 it was being played on TV regularly. Typical HON PANCHAMDA 'S STYLE CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN 🎶 😊

It was quite popular on release. My maasi used to have a cassette of Drohi. She and her friends would play this song and Dooba Dooba (the music video has Silk Smitha) on repeat all day.
