I don't even like canned tuna anymore, unfortunately. I think my tastebuds have gotten more sensitive over time. Not sure why. Thanks for braving this for us and giving us an idea of what it's like, though. I definitely won't be buying this, then. It's a shame, too, cause I was just thinking of what they could possibly use for the vegan equivalent of sushi. I mean, technically, it's entirely possible to make a 100% vegan sushi roll, as avacado rolls do exist, for example, and sushi doesn't mean "raw fish", it just means certain ingredients prepared with a kind of seasoned rice. You can have entirely vegan ingredients and still have it be "real" sushi. I just hate how we're basically driving a lot of fish species extinct. If they can work on the so-called "clean meat" (lab grown and basically cruelty free) version of many traditional sushi ingredients, that would be fantastic.
@flytrapYTP4 жыл бұрын
Ive noticed an interesting debate regarding lab grown meat in the vegan communities. It mainly seems to boil down to the reason for why a person became a vegan in the first place, and many vegans would happily eat lab grown meat for instance. Personally, I love the idea and would definitely try it.

I am in the northern USA, and we have TUNO by Loma Linda brand (which is expensive, as I just checked spelling and saw the price) , and it and the flavored variants are often at the dollar store. I envision it pronounced as "Toon---NO!". Anyhow, it is very not enjoyable, at least to me. Its nice to see more vegan/veg options available at low cost though.

I should hope it's a bit wierd. This is wierd stuff in a can, not normal stuff in a can. Love the video!

apparently the word vegan became an offence to many, almost as if someone would force them to eat it. really reminiscent to what you read about gay marriage from some people, the way they complain and spew hate despite being not affected.

Thomas Herzog Allegedly it’s because some vegans are pushy about veganism. Haven’t encountered any of that type myself, so I suspect the nastiness is more because some folks are a-holes. 🤷

I think it's more that a small subset of "militant" vegans and vegan organisations, such as PETA, have given them a terrible reputation.
@thomasherzog864 жыл бұрын
@@Fernando-sd6xt No, if at all - the lies about PETA has given idiots the idea they can whitewash their guilty conscience about meat. If you are one of those "knowing" everything about PETA, i suggest looking up "center for consumer freedom". There is nothing militant about protests against animal abuse, let alone this being a small minority of vegan lifestyle.

Would of been cool if you read the ingredients in the vegan mayo also never heard of vegan mayo. Wonder what’s in it. Recently found your channel and loving your content!!!

These videos are very entertaining, Mr Atomic Shrimp, especially during lockdown with nothing good to do. I hope you are doing well too. Cheers!

In our country, we never cut sandwiches in half. I think if we did, we wouldn't cut them diagonally either. Is there any explanation why they cut them, and if so, diagonally?

Saw this when it came out, however while on vacation recently I saw an odd combo of tuna and fake tuna in one can! I wish I would have bought it to ship to Atomic Shrimp to do a revisit.

i usually put red wine vinegar in my tuna salad, i'd imagine that would have done very well to brightening up the flavor.
