I love our 2nd gen Tundra. It's a comfortable vehicle. If I were going to buy another truck it would probably be another Tundra, but I've always had my eye on the F150. It is hard to switch though when the Tundra and every other Toyota/Lexus we've owned has been completely reliable and so easy to maintain.

I've had a Tundra and now have a 3.5 Ford. There are drawbacks to both but I saw no clear winner here and the Dodge and Chevy wouldn't have done any better. Most of the trucks now are crazy close in their abilities.

Most unbias and true comment. All the trucks are similar in their capabilities and honestly you can't go wrong with really any of them. It boils down to preference like engine output to fuel eco ratio and what you get with the truck for the price. It's really all personal preference/creature comfort related at this point. Ford, Toyota, Chevy or dodge, they're all probably going to do what you need it to do.

I currently own both Ford and Toyota, (owned gm and dodge in the past) Yes Toyota will last longer but ford is hands down the next best truck manufacturer. I used to be a logger, it didn’t matter what company you came across they all ran fords. You’d never find a logger running a Chevy or dodge . They all have their issues but ford is the toughest American truck overall.

The company I work for gets a fleet of fords and dodges every year. We always have a few more issues with the dodges. Also they’re just plain uncomfortable to spend an extended amount of time in. Fords interiors are much more spacious

Both will still be around Im sure Toyota holds value like mad so I assume it would be worth more and with a little less issues like broken parts wiring sensors etc Toyota doesnt do anything particularly impressive in one category but they do it all satisfactory and very reliably im driving a 2015 corolla havent even seen a check engine light in 6 years...my friends Chevy Cruze knocks like diesel at only 80000kms lmfao

Both absolutely great vehicles. They’ve both had their dark years, and made mistakes but generally awesome trucks. I currently own an 05’ Ford f150 with 200k+ miles for the last 10 years, that’s getting a little old and finally needing a few old parts replaced but still going strong. I just bought a 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma that is freaking unparalleled on the trail for a truck. I feel a Tacoma with the right lift, bumper for approach angle, and the right tires can be practically unstoppable on the trail. I love old trucks too. I’m currently restoring a 1969 Dodge w200 4x4 truck that is pretty awesome on the mountain as well !Anyway a fun video on 2 of the greatest trucks ever made . Thanks 👍

I owned a few Ford F150's and they are trash. The vacuum lines would engage and disengage of the four wheel drive system. the brake calipers would constantly lock up and the power steering would leak on the exhaust system. PLUS the frames are prone to bad rusting. My friend just sold a 2012 Ford F150 for a lot of money. outside looked sweet. and the father came and looked at this truck and loved everything about the truck. It even had fat ass off-road tires. OHHHH...wait...the frame was completely rusted out and soon would fall apart. I own a Toyota and it is the best vehicles to buy (including a few Lexus's).

As a mostly stock tundra driver I was disappointed with how both of these trucks did because I don't go slow when I'm offroad, I made it to the top of a mountain before my buddies in their custom Denali, Tacoma, and Ram made it off of the actual road, I had to turn around and drive 30 mintues just until I was able to find them, and the Denali had already busted the muffler mount

The Tundra's yellow fog lights gave it the advantage as there was a fair bit of low cloud. 🤣 ... ... ok, but seriously now it does have a much cooler face with that bumper/bar/& 🔅🔅 lighting than the 150!

Why is that Tundra's suspension so floaty ? It looks like it is trying to be a Cadillac or Benz while still going off road which is nice, but then it keeps hammering the ground and loosing grip. HOWEVER what will help BOTH trucks is airing down the tires. Grip would be a hell of a lot better.

Tundra lane had worse conditions. Neither one of them aired down 😂

Yeah I like how they keep the tundra tires full while the F 150 tires are low to prevent spinning while climbing
