This is how a horn must be built and sound. A free, natural, giant sound

Love it, sounds a lot more like live music. Much unlike the usual audiophile-tuned ear-piercing presentations. These speakers are my favourite. Thank you, Terry, for the terrific job you do and for the consistency in quality of your field recordings.

IMHO, this is the correct way to build a speaker system, I've loved horn loading my entire life.....awesome !!

Not sure how I feel about speakers costing many times the price of a new car... But I'm clearly not their targeted audience. Very cool still.

I'm puzzled when people call hi-fi equipment their hobby. I heard this word being used a lot by the Computer Audiophile guy when he was talking about his obsession... pardon, his 'hobby' to the rich crowd. Isn't that his 'hobby' is now being sold by him to his pre-conditioned readers? Perhaps I just don't quite understand this 'hobby'. For me it's all about the music. A lifelong relationship. But I think this is why I never called myself 'an audiophile', to me it was always a strange description to use. Although there was time when I can honestly say I too was kind of obsessed, I guess, with finding the right equipment for the job of proper music reproduction. What I really disliked about this period was that I started to listen more to the quality of the sound instead of the music itself. It was frustrating because this quality listening mode seemed to be taking over my senses. I had to basically retrain my ears and my brain to relax and focus on the music again.

@@john_scott I'm exactly the same, I can no longer enjoy music because I've trained my ears to constantly listen for, to sum it up "quality"
