Side note. If you change the steering plates you have to reset the max angle with your transmitter, otherwise the handling difference you feel would be caused by the new steering angle and not the new ackermann.

David I keep getting it confused but does more Ackermann give you more turn in corner entry? Or does it just smooth out the whole corner? Or is it more steering on corner exit. Or maybe I’m just way off and does it simply keep the steering less aggressive thru the corner. I have a pretty good setup knowledge but Ackermann has always confused me. I do know it’s just keeping a tighter arc in the inside wheel in the corner since the inside wheel travels less distance. I’m just trying to understand what effect more Ackermann has in the corner. BTW I’m an American that is always cheering for a Swede to win when u r at DNC when I watch the 5150 come drive with us videos. Your driving style is sooo fun to watch!!!!

Thomas Reynolds The higher the number, the higher the plate. Higher number raises the rear link on the hub. The lower the number the lower the link is on the hub.
