Wow, that STP engine air filter went in with no fuss. The Motorcraft filter has a tab that fits into the bottom of the air box, so that has to be lined up correctly, and then you have to really force the open end of the filter over its lip. And, yes, pay attention to the flanges on the filter that fit into the air box slots, or the cover won't fit snug.

Awesome tune-up work and instructional video. Very well explained. Will this all be the same for my 2016 Ford Focus Titanium 2.0L? Including for the manual transmission oil change and STP intake cleaner? Also, how about the fuel filter? Would this be good to replace also?

You got a manual Titanium? Those are super rare, nice!! Yes, should be the exact same! Also I am pretty sure the fuel filter is inside the fuel pump on the Focus and it isn’t serviceable.

To remove the AC belt just cut it and don't bother with the bolts on the AC conpressor. Route the new belt over the compressor pulley and what you can on the crank pulley with the majority of the belt seated on the forward side of the pulley (the right side of the pulley as you face it). Being a stretch belt it is designed to be "rolled" onto the crank pulley. Turn the crankshaft with a ratchet or breaker bar and the belt will roll onto it.

Why cut it? It's easy enough to take off and it's not a bad idea to keep a spare belt around.
@1001Hobbies2 жыл бұрын
@@JohnWaltonChristopher - Cutting the belt only takes 2 or 3 seconds. No other effort is involved. The belt is old and needs to be replaced. It can't be relied on anymore, so in cutting it there is no loss. The particular belt used in this instance is a stretch belt, as I stated in my original comment, and is designed to be rolled into place in the manner I described above. There is no need to make more work than is necessary by removing bolts.

@@1001Hobbies You don't remove any bolts to do this job so not sure what you are talking about? Being a stretch belt you can easily roll it off if you are able to roll it on. I have a little $3 tool but a flathead works too. I'm really not worried about that lost 20 seconds it took me to remove my belt. Plus now I have an extra belt.. not to rely on.. but rather to keep in the trunk in case of an emergency. It's wise to have an old belt in the trunk should my new one be defective and snap in the middle of the desert. I'd rather use the old belt than my girls stockings as a temp fix. I couldn't live without AC.

I noticed you have aftermarket headlights would those happen to be spec d tuning? Because I like the different ones they make but I’ve had fitment issues twice and was wondering how you got yours to look so good.
