TUNIC Ambience - Sealed Temple (Day+Night Mix) - 1 Hour

An ominous and foreboding atmosphere echoes through these halls, feeling like anything but sacred... A tense beat propels you forward into the darkness-- or light?...-- and keeps you keenly aware of the pressing matters at hand... but both ears hear two stories of a world left destroyed, hanging on for its' very last gasp of this dying dream...

Sometimes the soundtrack alone is not enough: this is a custom mix of 'Color Confinement' and 'Mirror Moon', the Day and Night themes of the Sealed Temple, respectively, synced to play at the same time, with each others' ambience overlapping one another.
Here, both senses are stimulated by the atmospheric notes that echo through the halls of the Sealed Temple; both versions cascade against each other like rippling waterfalls, creating a sound unlike any other, unique to each other, but forming a swansong of anxious perseverance.
Headphones recommended, as I've 'located' the music where you see it on-screen; in your left ear, the Daytime version, and in your right, the Nighttime version.

I still do not own the rights to TUNIC, its' visuals, or its' audio. Darn...
I do still own an official TUNIC fox plush. He falls over a lot. I also have a pin. And a physical copy of the game. AND the manual. AND the HARDCOVER manual... AND the OST vinyls............
And an actual tunic!... It's not green, though. I also don't think it's official TUNIC merchandise. Sad...

This is the version of the Sealed Temple that I've been needing. The sound of water echoing on the walls, the slower and deeper tones of the day version's music, the thunder and wind from outside, it's exactly what I need. Thank you, once again, for providing these videos.

The corruption with the water reflections looks absolutely spectacular. A lot of good symbolism to think about here, too. Love it!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy it so much. :3 I was a big fan of the reflections combined with the corruption, and initially I was hoping to do it slightly different-- but I'm happy with how it came out. Isn't it so interesting to consider how different the atmosphere can be when nighttime falls?

i feel like this is the first mix where the different *ambiences* really shine. the thunder outside with the normal music and normal ambience... it's nice. also, i just noticed! this is the first one of these where the ruinseeker isn't conveniently on either side of the screen- they're right in the middle, which was probably at least a bit tough to make, right?

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them, the ambiences in this location can be quite intriguing and interesting; whether at night or during the day, this place is always somewhere I tend to wander off to if I need a break in TUNIC to just listen to things. The visuals are actually two separate 1-hour recordings of live footage where I legitimately stood there for an hour solid; at night, that's one hour, during the day, that's another. In order to make these, I have to make sure I'm standing at the EXACT same spot at both times (not easy to do at all times) but I specifically wanted this one to show off a neat detail; the Ruin Seeker's idle animation is faster at nighttime than it is during the day! Foxes ARE known to be nocturnal after all.. ;3 Double-videos like this aren't always the easiest to make, but I find them rewarding because you really get to get the vibe of both the nighttime and daytime version all at once; the songs are typically at the same exact tempo with variants of ambience playing, and I think it adds to the already-amazing atmosphere.
