Steven Fereday of Late Model Racecraft goes over the process to utilize the HP Tuners process to tune the Global B E99 ECM. This will be a multi-part series documenting our experience that has been 3 years in the making.
As many know the GM vehicles on the Global B network with E99 ECMs are locked and limit nearly all abilities to tune the vehicles. Now that HP Tuners has finally accomplished accessing the code, we are now granted access under the HP Tuners network to calibrate tunes just as we were able to in previous models.

If possible, when you guys tune the first C8, can you do video just with the car being tuned with no bolt ons or anything so that way people can see the gains that it can get, then maybe do one with headers tuned because we know the gains that the headers make off of your previous videos without it being tuned but now, with the two maybe more people can see what the car can actually do with the tune and headers.. Besides the new mpvi 3 was there any other hiccups to prevent the download of the tune?

Trifecta has a webpage stating little to no gains on a stock engine with GMs state of tune vs a modded car.

It can go further without boost, but with boost it will get you to the destination quicker.....

Heads, Cam, Holley Hi-Ram, E85. I'd say 600 whp will be pretty easy to do. I wanna see a 427 LT2 with higher compression.

Hay man hope all is well. I just have a question I have a 22 c8 HTC I already have a Paragon Tour Exhaust. I’m thinking about putting either a attack blue filter, or a intake. Will this HP tuner gain any horsepower on NA cars? or is this tuner pacifically for boost? So basically, my question is can you gain anything with basic Boltons? Lmk thx

Hurt their sales? There's a wait list for purchasing the C8s, and they stopped accepting Z06s orders lol. GM wanted to get through the cars release before people went crazy with tuning them.

Would be cool to see a Stingray with a full top end and properly tuned. But it will be expensive. Unfortunately that means no more new performance cars for me. The Vette and the Mustang are pulling the same crap, if I buy a car it is mine I’m not renting the ECU from the manufacturer. Plenty of good C5’s, C6’s, and C7’s as well as Camaros, Stangs out there for decent coin. I don’t have to have the newest and latest thing. For those out there with the coin to spend, we will have fun watching the builds and seeing what can be done. I knew good ol fashioned American ingenuity would crack the computers. 👍💪🇺🇸🦅

Depending on what we're doing. Hp Tuners was a 2 day turn around + shipping to and from.

Hi, I believe you are correct, I have a ProCharger on my C8 , in stage 1 form it didn’t work that good, then stage 2 came along which consisted of pulling out the ECM , and sending it to Trifecta, I believe they installed the tune that ProCharger developed for it with them. The shop took out all that stupid piggy back stuff for stage 1 , replaced the ECM, and it’s a totally different car, picked up almost another 100 rwhp, stock was 436, stage 1 was 520s and now stage 2 is 615 rwhp, car works great, transmission works better, extremely happy now.

With modifications such as headers/exhaust and especially heads and cam upgrades there is plenty of power to be had.

@@peterszenkowski7769 There is already heads/cam packages for LT2 available newbie. Aside from that bolt-on modifications such a as headers, off road mid pipes. Then you have guys who want to run E85, boost etc etc. Plenty of reasons for tuning the C8 Corvette.

desparate for your help.... my 2021 z51 HTC was done at a competitor and I got it back April 20th ... it keeps throwing codes and going lnto limp mode. There is a Maggie on it etc...
