3. East to west corridor 2: Old Airport road - Mysuru road (28.90 km. From Varthur Kodi to Jnanabharati

Sir, When yo are talking about routes, please put up a map of bengaluru and show the routs on the map, many people will not know the names by places. and aso please go a little slow while describing the routes, stations and other key information.

Already the good effects of metro on whitefield traffic is visible. If the outer ring road metro also becomes operational,, then traffic situation will get improved. I think it is better to expand the city towards Hoskote, Doddaballapur, Kanakpura, Bidadi.. With Metro phase 3, sub urban rail, STRR and PRR the trafffic situation must improve a lot. Not sure how the tunnel road is going to benefit. It can't just be point to point tunnel,, because there has to be multiple exits and entry points to the tunnel. Just one Nagawara metro is taking so much time for tunnelling. Imagine having 6 lane tunnel, not sure what will happen.... The final cost will easily exceed 1 lakh crores.

Yes you are correct sir rather than spending so much in one tunnel project. they should improve metro more and should do tunnel road only where it's too important.

Tunnel Project is not feasible and it will add more congestion at the entry and exit points. Instead metro expansion north south and east west over head expressways with many exit and entry points can be considered costing a fraction of Tunnel Project cost. It better that trafic experts who does not have any vested interest are consulted.
