This is still one of the coolest builds I’ve seen done on YT. It’s inspired me several times to get my square looking right. Just did the suspension, got the stance right, and got the same wheel and tire package. Little by little but it’s fun to watch and get inspired. Keep it pushing man!

I have the pleasure of being friends with Alec! He is a very nice fellow. I had the privilege to work with him on several Solar projects. I hired him to do our final electrical connections on some projects we did. I tell people he’s the youngest Red Seal electrician on the planet! Lol I’m not 100% sure on that actually but he must have been because when he first got his license he was maybe 20! His ‘72 C10 is awesome. One of the nicest sounding engines I’ve heard! The truck is beautiful. They did a very nice job building it. I’m anxious to see this one on the road!

Are you planning on having functional windshield wipers on the truck? If so, now would be a good time to check the operation of the wiper arms and linkage after modifying the firewall to clear the intake. First video of yours, i've seen, love the truck! Subbed 👍

Hey Alec I got a little trick for ya. Instead of jacking a collapsed engine lift all the way from the bottom, loosen the bleeder screw, step on a leg and pick up on the hoist part. It will come right up in a fraction of the time

You've probably already decided on engine/transmission, but you uou should definitely change plans and put a nasty turbo diesel in it lol. Doesn't even matter what it is, but something different would be awesome. OM606/648, 4JJ1, the 3.9 CR Cummins, 4.5 Cummins, the list goes on. It would keep the truck super unique, inline with the way it already is instead of the already done a million times LS/4L80e/T56

Can't argue that the Ls combo has been used a million times but I'm not a big fan of diesel personally but it would be unique for sure! Ls is just a temporary engine. Would love to go with a more unique combo in the future👍

Anyway great work but you'll grow your channel and your wallet if you finish projects quicker and move on to the next project. Are you sure it's a 68? It's definitely got a 69-72 cab. The back window is much smaller on a 68.

Wheels are 15x10 aero in the rear with 325/50r15 nitto nt555r2 tires and up front it's vision D window 16x8 rims with 265/50r16 toyo proxes r888r

Yeah, I do want to stay focused on the build but I'm sure you know hassling with KZbin spins your wheels. Alec like a lot of other creators you all would have a lot more views if YT was on top of things. A lot of time YT doesn't notify me when content is put up. Also YT is pushing paid subscriptions. I ain't bi*ching it's business I know and I still will watch YT...You should have Waaay more views though......
