Turbo Blanking Plate Install.. Flutter Flutter Flutterr

So today i create more noise from the engine bay and install a blanking plate on my Megane R26 230. The blanking plate will blank off the recirculation valve, pushing air into the turbo which will create the Flutter noise.
I know that this isnt the best thing for the turbo, but ive read online in a journal that anything under 15psi will NOT cause wear to the turbo. I have spoke to people who have ran this set up for years and never had an issue.
But for piece of mind; i will only being running this for a short period of time until i get a forge BOV.

It might not "hurt" the turbo but ive read a bunch on this and it lowers the lifespan of the bearings in the turbine shaft because of quick sudden changes in pressure called pulses.

itsLeeLockwood I'm not a huge fan of the '5K' either but after reading the comment someone made about it signifying long time fans, I really think you should keep it. It could just be incorporated into the design more, instead of being stuck on the end. For example, I think design #1 would lend itself to having the '5K' set inside the 'D' (if you get what I mean). Or on #3, it could go in the KZbin icon in place of their 'play' symbol. Or! If you could fashion the 'C' into a '5', then you would have '5K' nicely slotted into the design. You'd just need to make the '5K' slightly bigger so it stands out from the overall design (i.e. Lo5Kwood). Perhaps with the right font, even a reversed '5' could work, since the bottom half is a 'c' anyway. 😉

Lee mate the best thing to do is get a forge recirculation valve. I ran a dump valve and had to remove it because it made the car really jerkey. This is why turbo cars with mass air flow sensors have recirculation valves. Atmospheric Dump valves are dumping metred air out of the system and the ecu doesn't know what's happening. This makes the car run lean. Not good at all. Just thought I'd give some advice from my experience. Cheers mate.
