Cheers to the new year! Simple turbo cider is always a winner. Some times when I want/need to free up some room in the freezer I’ll add some berries in. Finished either bone-dry or with a bit of residual sugars. Yum…

@@AndysHomebrewKitchen - I like dry too for my ciders. When I back sweeten it’ll never be nowhere near the sweetness of the commercially available ciders I can buy. But some times, depending on the apples used in the juice, the cider needs just a touch of sweetness. It’ll still come across as dry but the apple comes out more and it’s not mouth-puckeringly tart. I want to experiment with yeasts that have different levels of attenuation, in order to have that ever so slight residual sweetness without needing to back sweeten.

Thanks for this great video. I am a fan of wine. Is the fermentation process safe? That is, if we drink only the fermented drink without distilling it, is there no danger of consuming harmful methanol? Please clarify. And thank you.

Thank you Hamza, It is safe. The abv gets nowhere near the 90 to 100% that methanol is. Stay away from distilling I reckon, leave that to the experts 👍.
