ive got a spec stage 3 on my corolla hatch with the lightweight flywheel as well and man it feels great. sadly no turbo on mine lol. great vids man i stumbled across your channel today and its great to see another corolla channel.

Yeah seems to be a common failure point, because the plastic gets very brittle.

Were you able to find a fix to the grinding noise in high speeds? Same issue with mine! All my wheel bearings are fine .

I still have not found the issue. I was hoping it was a clutch or a bad throw out bearing. But I replaced pretty much everything in my drive train. I am narrowing it down to most likely a bearing in the actual transmission. And my wheel bearings also seem fine. So I don’t think it is those.

I told you a long time ago you have to add a washer to the t starter to move it a bit away

I thought when you mentioned the spacer, it was for your flywheel that you had bought! Because once I swapped to the new starter from autozone it was not hitting!
