Turbo Dynamics GPS speedo.Does it work? install and test.

we install and test a turbo dynamics GPS speedo on our buddy Billy's Stage 6 arctic cat ZR 9000. we think this gauge is pretty sweet and now Billy can just go out for a rip and get a proper quarter mile speed and time without needing someone with a radar gun. thanks to our buddy Nick Dart for the sticker for Billy's sled! 🍻. check out turbo dynamics website if your interested in the gauge.

I was going to ask where you're located, but I saw that question already asked in the comments. I'm in Orillia now, but grew up in Peterborough and lived on Chemong. Watching your video is like a trip down memory lane for me. Cat Shack and Cycle salvage were my old stomping grounds. Keep up the great work on the videos, thoroughly enjoyable.

You guys were hauling Ass out there. I run a17 renegade X 850 and just with a bit of clutching I was getting 121mph in the quarter which I think is pretty respectable for a stock machine. Love your vids brother and not being able to ride is driving me crazy. Hopefully I’ll be back in the saddle for next season.

Lower it down, build an Tuck rear tunnel cover to tuck in the track. Track is causing to much windage and slowing you down. Look at super mod sleds doing 165mph. Toss the helmet with the peak and get an aerodynamic one put a little taller windshield on and gain a Couple more MPH. The wind might also be Sucking off his back. Put a small flag on and watch his back. I bet the draft is messy causing you to slow down a bit due to wind turbulence effect.

That Bushnell handheld radar is not very reliable. On our pro mod it can't even read the sled at all. We ran a top speed of 184.7mph on a stalker radar td gps read identical. Stalker radar is really good.

yeah the gauge works great! Billy is very happy with it and it's perfect for testing and tuning 👌 we will get Billy's sled to 140 mph in the quarter mile for sure and we will be using the gauge every step of the way. 🍻

Got a buddy looking at that speedo. Do you guys have a hook up manual? What voltage does it look for?

sorry we don't, but I should come with instructions how to hook it up. it was really easy to install and wire. we wired it to a 12 volt ignition feed. hope that helps! it's a cool gauge and comes in real handy 🍻

Does that Sled have the fancy Head stud's ? How much Boost you running ?

yeah it has arp head studs and usually runs between 26-28 psi boost. 🍻
