Congrats! I have a 92 Foxbody with a junkyard 351w and gt40p heads and a on3 76mm turbo kit. Ran ok. swapped the heads and intake to a set of procomp 230cc aluminum heads that were fully worked/ported to match a victor super. That made some stink with my 76mm. I just bought a fully forged 408 shortblock that I am about to swap, can't wait! I am running the holly super sniper and love it, makes drive ability great and I don't have to mess with it.

Nice clean install! Hope this changes your opinion of turbo cars some. You really went through that install like a boss, especially for your first foray into a fox turbo install. In a few months when 6lbs of boost starts to feel slow, the good news is that IME the jump from 6 to 10-12lbs of boost feels like a bigger jump in the seat of your pants than going from N/A to 6lbs does.

BREW2L Im at 15# with the stock 70 turbo. To low rpm in 3rd and blew the t5 with radials. Now I’m back to 15 with my jy 4r70w. Crazy what the tiny turbo will do.

Best thing to do is get 90° aluminum bends and use straight couplers 👍🏻

Yep thats always been an issue. It sucks closed. I shoulda done a video (short one) of why you want to use a 90 elbow like alum/steel. Its like that on my 351

All my Macks are aluminum air tubes. My buddy's turbo Ls had the rubber boot to the TB, you could see it expand and suck creating havoc just sitn there revn it up.

I have said it before, but I am really enjoying the journey with this car. Always have. Always will. I know you had to take the fog lights out. Not a deal breaker either way. I'd gladly give up my fog lights in my RSX Type-S for this set up. LOL. Maybe you could mock them up in there somehow even if it's only the lenses and not the housing. Just for looks. I really wanted you to save them, but it does look good with that little sneak peak of the piping.

I have an AFM PMS and I don't have a start up tune for it and AFM no longer supplies them. I'm hoping that by inputting a good working tune from a similar car will help get me started with my outdated tuner. Thanks!

Now it just needs a t56 (I'm planning on a magnum) and you can turn that boost up and bang gears. Running my almost completely stock 94 cobra has all but torn the t5 apart can't even imagine it holding the power this can make on a hard pull

Boosted and even NA certain tb will cause surge and that whistle noise. Accufab tb seem to be the fix. They dont leak lol. The last pull around 8:10min mark seemed to be going in the right direction! Boy later on she sho would breathe better with a Holley Systemax upper and lower.They seem to do the best when boosted.

If you do have an issue with heat soak on the starter, maybe you can just wrap the exhaust side to help a bit....may be easier than taking the starter off, but with the space hopefully you won’t have any issues.

Add more boost that will fix that rich condition don’t go to fast on adding timing 1 or 2 degrees then data log. You did what I was going to do to my old fox but I sold it well good luck with it

The Roush supercharger on my 18 AFR under heavy load has hit in the 8's. I complained to Ford about it even though the car runs great. They said it's what Roush wants them at. It's under full warranty otherwise I'd get a better tune

Wait til you throw 10-12 psi to her the first time and put a couple degrees more in her. Just monitor it and you will see huge improvements. Once you go turbo it becomes something very addicting.

Have you had issues with auto tune trying to tune the lowest kpa row on decel off throttle? My gauge leans out on decel with no throttle and auto tune tries to dump tons of fuel into that row because of it. Even though it's not actually lean. I have all fuel cut features off and Ego correction at 0% too. Still tries to dump fuel. Might just need to block the entire row off from auto tune
