The timing marks on the chain are when you assemble the engine. Once the engine is running the marks will move around. Mark sure your on top dead center and check the timing marks with the 90 degree lines on the cam gears. The crank pulley should have a timing mark as well. Also make sure it’s on TDC with piston number one up.

Your videos are so so helpful and informative. Did you have to modify the type s oil pump to fit? Can I do this and it until i’m ready for boost?

Thank you! If you buy the type s oil pump from honda directly then you will need to modify it. If you go with the one that i got which is the Unit 2 type s oil pump the come cut, modified and also ported. If your not comfortable cutting and porting yourself get the Unit 2 pump, follow my instructions and your good to go! And yea you can install the pump and go boost somewhere down the line. BUT remember you need to either tune your car or retune your car once you install the pump

Did you use a stock timing chain tensioner or an upgraded one?
