I’m the 54 y/o 71 Camaro 383 stroker SBC “boomer” ya’ll hate on. I bought a very well done 4.8 swapped Colorado some brothers were building to street car no prep drag racing with. Thanks for the confidence to get out of my comfort zone and slap a turbo on this and learn. I know I’m going to mess this up but I gotta start somewhere! Thanks Matt

It's only a 4.8, so you won't have to worry about 'losing the shop' if you blow it up.

You're not a boomer if you are 54, we are Gen X. I am also 54, and have built a couple of turbo LS cars with info from Matt. You will have a blast when you get it going. Boost is like having nitrous on tap all the time.

54 is gen X I agree. Boomers are our parents lol. I'm 48. Welcome to LS world of cam swap builds. Only question someone will ask if trash motor is the cam OK. Throw it and springs in another 4.8-408 and instant race motor lol. I gave lq4 with identical lq4 back up ready.
