@cashedoutcars You should get a NB non vvt head and use the bottom end/block from your NA BP, I'm pretty sure the earlier BP engines had lower comp pistons. That would be a good setup!

Yes, stock internals! I haven’t Dynod this car so I can’t say exactly, but it should be somewhere around 200 whp. My tune is relatively conservative. With a good tune, plenty of people run ~200 wheel torque without issue

Hey man, I've been a subscriber for a while, I'm using a different account to say this. I'm just trying to help out - please don't take this the wrong way. I think your channel would get a lot more likes, views, subs etc. if you called it something else. I don't want to get into the nitty gritty but I feel like the majority of people skip over your channel simply because of it's name. I know I did at first. I have a whole explanation as to why but I don't want to sound mean. IIRC your last name(?) is Cash so I get it, but new viewers don't know that. First impression goes a long way for getting new viewers. You make solid videos at a decent rate, I hate to see you being held back by your channel name. I feel like a few thousand people that already know about your channel would subscribe immediately if they found out that you changed the name. I get that you've already built up a reputation with this name, but you're still fairly small, it would be better to do it now than later if you've ever thought about changing it

Hey Dan, that’s not being mean at all, that’s constructive criticism. I’ve thought about changing the name, but I’m not sure what I’d change it to. Email me at cashedoutcars@gmail.com, I’d like to hear your thoughts on new names / why this one isn’t great! -Cash

Ca$h, Try Stickier tires before you start tearing it apart. Also next project should be a Cash build…using word of mouth, swap meets, classifieds and social media ONLY for the Car and parts….I think you might wanna go American for this…or maybe Honda
@CashedOutCars3 жыл бұрын
I agree, stickier tires would help a lot! I want an LSD for the track anyway though, so that's next on the list. That'd be an awesome build series, and would be a fun project. I have a few ideas for the next build on the channel, I'm just waiting to see what comes up locally!
@s.willis84263 жыл бұрын
@@CashedOutCars You gotta find the smashed NB with a torsen and take the whole rear subframe and diff and swap it out. It fits, it's stiffer, and you get the LSD added in one shot.
@s.willis84263 жыл бұрын
Miata is a crappy car for 0-60 numbers anyway unless you do a custom gearbox to make it a single shift affair that hits 60 in 2nd gear. That is pretty much the trend with any manual transmission "sporty" car nowadays 0-62 mph (0-100kph) is just 1st and 2nd.
@CashedOutCars3 жыл бұрын
Agreed, it’s not a great straight line car even with this setup. This does hit 60 banging limiter in 2nd, hardly though. This doesn’t account for rollout like modern magazine times, so it looks a bit slower than it is
@s.willis84263 жыл бұрын
@@CashedOutCars A buddy of mine built a 83 GTi with a G60 supercharged motor but the stock 83 GTi transmission. He could run about a 14.1 quarter mile at about 105 mph but he was in 5th gear crossing the line. The car topped out at about 120 (terrifying in an 83 VW) and could hit that from a stand still in about 20 seconds. The right gearing makes a world of difference.
@blizanthimum3 жыл бұрын
Not true. I hit 0-60mph in 3.78s, with 1 foot roll-out it is 3.48s and that's on a turbo charged 1.6 stock bottom end and factory 5 speed. My numbers was at the track and lauding at 6k rpm, idk what it would do on the street.
i can’t decide whether going for forced induction or itbs in my miata 🥲
@CashedOutCars3 жыл бұрын
I'm a big fan of turbo noises :) but ITBs are cool too!
@s.willis84263 жыл бұрын
ITB is way cooler looking and sounding (in my opinion) and make for a much neater engine bay but you'll never get the power the turbo gets you with ITB without doing massive work to the engine. Also depending on where you live and the amount of elevation change you deal with ITB can be a tuning nightmare with massive power loss at elevation. Flying Miata did a video about them and being in Colorado where elevation change is very common they had lots of power problems in the mountains where the turbos just make their own air.
@TheEddieguerrero063 жыл бұрын
@@s.willis8426 thank you so much for mentioning elevation problem, i’m in the south so near sea level, and i’m aware they’re very sexy sounding, that’s one of the main reasons i’m contemplating it, and ofc the attractive engine bay. I plan to build a nice build, not a power build
