This is such a good ride. Like genuinely. It’s rare to go on a ride that feels so dangerous to ride. My harness was loose and I could raise it about 4 inches up which really got under my skin. Then the ride comes and it’s like being in a tiny old car on the motorway but instead of the road you’re on an old rusty track. It’s rough, but I feel like it adds to it. Remove the roughness and this ride would be boring. Regarding the Harness being loose, there isn’t exactly any need for an over shoulder one anyways. As long as you have something to grip to then you’ll be fine. You don’t leave your seat at any point during the ride (thankfully). Highly recommend!

My friends would never ride the mine train coaster at hayling island, and then it was torn down to be replaced by an awful mouse coaster. Thank god they can still rude this (identical) coaster in Brighton, and yes, it hurts as it jolts onto its side after the loop

The fact that I didn't even realise that I was on the coaster because my restraint was so loose and I was trying not to fly out by holding on to anything I could just shows how unsafe this coaster is. As an enthusiast, I honestly expect better safety on these rides because I wasn't even scared of falling out or anything I was literally trying not to fall out. My restraint was quite a few inches from my lap.

Maybe completely random but I spotted 2 of Alton Towers River Rapids boats on the back of a lorry yesterday. Travelling down the A52 in nottingham near the QMC. Any updates for the ride this year or just routine maintenance? I'm excited for the opening of the Alton Towers Dungeons. The boat ride will be a great feature if done right. Hope they have spent the right money on it and it's not another Thorpe Parks The Walking Dead ride. Was hugely dissappointed with that. Especially when the American version is amazing.
