Another interesting vlog, been to Brighton City Centre to have a meal and bit of a day out there around the classic narrow streets. Especially to see Chocywokydoda, which was and is good. Never been to the fairground, but one day lol. Nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. 😀👍

Aw, I used to love the old ghost train at Brighton pier. Such a shame it burned down.

I do miss the old British seaside experience. When I was a kid, every summer was either Blackpool, Rhyl, Morecambe or Southport. And I lived in Brighton 1992-97. The only ride when I arrived in '92 was the helter-skelter, but by '99 there were loads. Can't get back over at the mo because of Covid, but there's a very decent amusement park and aquarium at my local beach, called Hakkeijima Sea Paradise which helps allay the old homesickness. This was a fun vid, and I enjoyed watching.

My funniest memory of this pier (not that anyone asked just thought i would share) was: we went for my mum and mine birthday because we are only five days apart and i was lovely weather as it was August and me and my mum were taking an instagram picture and she had her new sunglasses on and she went to brush hair off her face or whatever and knocked them off! They very nearly ended up in the sea and we couldn’t stop laughing. Great video!

Thanks for this vid. I used to work in the rides department there many years ago. I was there when the Booster and Super Booster were brought in. Many happy memories. Although on my last day, I was put on Booster for one last ride, they left me up there for ages, just like you were, however it was at night and it was freezing.

For those of you who are interested the building that you see can with the four small domes from the log flume ride or when you look down the left hand side of the pier from the sea front used to house the old ghost train in the 1960's and 1970's before it was moved to its current position.

I went there on the 2nd July but because of the weather, crazy mouse was shut :( my favourite ride is probably galaxia, and that wild river ride, we went on it like 6 times lol. I didn’t like the dodgems since I’m so bad at bumper cars 😖. Those are the only rides I can remember that I went on, the helter skelter was fun too :) I think I went on waltzers also! We didn’t go on turbo since my friends were scared 😂

Most of them rides need updating especially the waltzer and ghost train , turbo needs re-tracking . Great place though especially in summer 👍 great mini series you two 👏🏼

Finally my favourite pier, amazing video. I haven’t been on booster yet It looks so good on a pov but when I go there it makes me so nervous. Air race and crazy mouse is my favourite, the log flume was good but it was a cold day. Turbo is quite good apart from its very rough 😂 And the ghost train was quite boring but overall I love the pier it has amazing food and views on a nice day.

Just check that Brighton Pier hasn't charged you the date rather than the fee... that all the track of the turbo coaster is in place before they start a ride off... and hope that no bits of the air race fall off....

@@-b_i_b_b_y- most other people will feel exactly the same. You will notice the difference between those from big cities who find Brighton small and those from smaller places who find it big. Try to socialise with people you live with or people on your course and it will be fine :)

As Brighton pier now own light water valley they could put a booster or maybe a large drop tower at light water valley, I’ve never been and before they removed lots of rides last year I wanted to go so bad but now they need something large to compliment the ultimate and a tall booster or drop tower would be perfect
