I loved this video since I owned a 1966 HiPo mustang which I purchaced in 1968. I also owned a built 327 1969 Camaro which I purchaced in 1977. After leaving the Army. It was a base 307 model, very light car which we built up from the ground up. That was the first car that I owned that would wheelie without trying!

mcgyverdude+ The camera work is nice but the music overpowers the two cars' sound effects and the video is edited pretty badly for some parts. Like at 1:11 the chevy is going on straight road but at 1:24 the chevy is now turning onto that same road but from a dirt road, and in that same frame if you look real close you can see the ford featured at 1:39 on the top right corner of the road. But other than that the chase was good and the choice of cars are cool and the sound effects were realistic, the quality of the cameras were amazing but there was a lot of quick cuts in the video. Maybe you could take this into mind in the next car chase. I'm not trying to offend you or hate on your video. I'm just saying my thoughts on the video and stuff. I hope I did not look like I was hating on you. Peace.

I have a 1965 mustang, love driving it. My 289 HiPo 600 hp runs with a c6 transmission done up. You can run just like this in Mexico wide open.

Now I want to add a turbo and see how this 289 perform with the c6 it's a 3500 stall converter in still ride about 70 to 75 miles an hour with the 413 gears..man she moves out at midrange and top end shes still pulling.

I liked this video sure enough. But when will someone start doing cars like they did in the 70s. Most were on the second and third owner, many times at a bargain. SS Chevelles for $5-600, Super Bees, Mustangs, Novas, GTOs, 442s, Baracudas, about every hot rod you could think of were cheap and good premium was still under 50 cents a gallon. The parts were catching up with the General Public and some great cars roamed the streets even after the gas lines went away. Sure, when they were new they were fun, but not so many guys knew how to make something out of them until the 3rd or fourth set of hands got to them. The party was on. Bring back the N50s and Snorkel hoods, Hurst Shifters and Cragar SS wheels, Moose Juice and Sunoco 260. This new stuff rocks but it still ain't got that attitude that it all had then.

If you learned anything from Bullitt, it should be that you do NOT need to add music over the top of what is already the perfect soundtrack, and what we all came to hear - the engines. Should re upload with no music.

Only beef I have with this vid are the shots and editing since it doesn’t fit the bullit style camera shots of really satisfying open wide swooping shots of the cars going across the frame and slower pace editing, the video had a more modern take with faster in your face editing you’d see in let’s say the newer death race movies. I don’t expect anyone to have professional level film training stuff when you’re all just having fun but just a tiny critique I had. It’s a pretty good video nonetheless.
