That black mustang "pro mod" desperately needs a same year fastback roof to clean up the lines. I really am digging that car, never seen it before. I was never a fan of a notchback early mustang, guess thats my hangup with it. Would like to see a fastback roof and clean up those bubbles above the rear tires. This car looks like a light and fun no nonsense race car. And with vortech on the quarter panel makes me think its got a small block ford up front which just adds to the cool factor.

Shiny black,, too much for maintenance miser John. Though it does match the Smart,,, lets paint the racecar to match the service vehicle, Bad luck for Mike, he needs to paint the car a different color. And put a Mopar in it!

The jr dragsters are insanely held back. I think it would be a better learning experience if they were at least a tad quicker. My minibike runs 8.90s @72 in the 1/8 and thats just playing around with a HF 212. If i leaned on it seriously it would be an easy 7.50s bike in the 660ft. Actually i have 2 identical doodlebug framed bikes each built the same. Reason was testing a centrifugal clutch vs a comet style cvt. The centrifugal is slightly quicker and much faster overall. The cvt bike has Tons of lowend and stays on the wheelie bar almost to the 330, but all that extra rotating mass really eats up the power after the 330 mark. So far ive found a 10mph difference in trap speeds between the two. I think jr dragsters for the young'ins are the best idea for upcoming drag racers, just wish they let them go a little bit quicker and faster. I honestly don't think safety would be a factor as long as existing rules are enforced. Wish they at least left much harder then slow them down at the big end.
