I've been taking it for about 3 weeks (got hold of some of Derek's). At first, I didn't notice any effects. Then basically by accident, I added it to my pre-workout regime and bam; more sets, more reps, and less fatigue. I also seem to recover more quickly and am back to 2 3-day splits/week, at 51. I know some folks don't react to it but for me it's made me feel stronger than I have in years.

There's no point in bringing up shit like this to a doctor, doctors aren't some magical wizards that have information on everything. They're just normal people who got good grades in school and were taught about medicine in university. Do you really think that Turkesterone was part of your doctors medicine course? Obviously not, so there's really no point in asking your doctor about Turkesterone. Doctors basically know nothing when it comes to fitness and performance enhancing drugs/supplements. You will know more than the average doctor after a day of watching Derek's videos.

Recent studies showed that having healthy gut bacteria can play a huge part in muscle growth or even hinder it. Obviously the study was done on mice and they don't know why exactly the lower gut bacteria caused less muscle growth and it was 1 study. The difference was pretty substantial though and is very interesting for the future of people who want to optimize their training. This could also help explain why some people gain muscle more then others, which goes under the term "good genetics" of course. I'd very interested in seeing a what kind of gut bacteria Cbum has compared to like number 10 at the olympia or joe at the gym that has trained hard for 20 years and has barely gotten any gains. I know that this is probably more of a Derek kind of topic but I wouldn't mind hear the coach himself talk it and possible future of supplements that may be produced by this knowledge. I'll post this comment on his latest video as well perhaps it could be a topic of interest for him as well.
