Turkey to Buy New Typhoon Super fighter jets from UK

During an official visit to UK, the Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Army, made a significant stop at Royal Air Force Coningsby Base, The visit included a thorough inspection of the EF-2000 Eurofighter Typhoon, a military aircraft that Turkey has expressed interest in purchasing. Since 2022, the Turkish Air Force has been eyeing the Eurofighter Typhoon jets. although Germany has temporarily blocked the delivery.

Germany has been holding this contract up for years. This will keep our production lines going until GCAP/Tempest is ready. This is a result for the UK aircraft production lines. Be happy, this keeps the British Aircraft industry at the cutting edge.

Its a great plane. They should sell a lot to India instead of their Russian junk which even they are getting nervous about. The F-15 is the most successful combat aircraft flying. Over a hundred kills. No other existing plane is even close. F-18's are second if I remember correctly. The Swedish Gripen is also underrated as an all-around fighter that could land in a shoebox.

Who would want it. The F35 still has a host of problems which is why the GCAP project came about in the first place. America has produced a 'Hollywood' fighter, all promise and glitter. The Lockheed / Martin alliance cannot keep up with their promises, and even the new GNAD fighter is now in doubt, because of it's outragous promises and price-tag. A sensible 6th gen fighter / bomber by three advanced nations might just be what what the western world has been waiting for.
