Our journey today begins outside Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport, London. We enter the terminal and head to check in, before going through security to the departure lounge. Our flight today goes from B pier so we take the underground tunnel to the B pier where our aircraft is waiting for us.
We board the aircraft and take our seat in 42A, and it isn't long before we push back for our taxi to runway 27L. Before long we take off and are treated to a fantastic view for most of the flight due to the unusually clear weather across the whole of Europe. We fly over the North Sea, towards the Netherlands before crossing Germany, Czechia, Hungary and Romania, before commencing our descent across Bulgaria. Istanbul isn't as pleasant as London today but it's still a relatively clear day, as we make our approach over the Sea of Marmara, making a bumpy touchdown on runway 05. We're lucky to get a remote stand today, and disembark via steps in front of the enormous GE90 engines to the waiting bus. We are driven to the busy terminal to await our next flight.

inflight Video Thank you! I can’t wait. By the way, I wanted to ask: do you know if row 14 are window seats? I was booked for 14A and 14B, but when I checked the seats online with Seat Guru and the Turkish Airline B777 fleet, it showed me that row 14 is right in the middle of the plane.

Row 14 does not have a window! I was booked in 14A but realised it had no window. The check in staff said it did and I had to fight with them to change it to this row, so don't book row 14 on the Turkish 777!

Noel Philips: inflight Video was the flight turbulent on the 777. I went from Manchester on an A321 and it was turbulent for most of the journey. It was July 19. Might consider going from Heathrow next time on a 777 if it’s a smooth flight. Thanks.

Cool, I flew on TK1980 nearly a year later in April 2019. Do you plan to make anymore full flight videos? They are incredibly relaxing especially to have on whilst sleeping and pretending we are onboard that flight jetting off around the world. I think these videos are what taught me to sleep well on flights in the lead up to my first ever ultra long haul trip from Australia to Heathrow in 2017.

Great video! Love that you not only show the view from the passenger windows but also the interior of the airplane, the camera is positioned just right, I really like the look of the 777s wings, my favorite Boeing plane after the now retired Jumbo, and the information screen is a bonus. Can't find any fault in your video (not that I was looking for any), I watched while playing sudoku and doing some computer chores so the length of the video didn't bother me either, I just skipped the first 30 minutes but that was it.

Hey man! Great job editing! I'm wondering why airlines use big planes to fly small routes, I guess it's because of cargo load. You should go from DFW > ORD, which uses an American B787. And try the world's shortest A380 flight, from DXB > DOH.

Hiya - I have another question to ask! Do you know if seats 24K are window seats next to the wing on the B777? I've booked my seats on the Turkish Airlines website, however when I look online on Seat Guru, it says that seat 24K isn't a window seat next to the wing. On the Seat Guru website, it says Boeing 777-300 ER (77W), but I when I booked my seats online on the Turkish Airlines website, it says Boeing 777-300 ER (77K) - I don't know if the letters (77W/77K) mean anything. Why in the hell did your plane plod along at Mach 0.62 to 0.70? That made your trip 27 percent longer than one at a normal cruising speed, equating to about 42 minutes of added flight time. Airlines must be feeling the squeeze of rising fuel prices, I guess. Anyway, really nice job. Thank you.
