Well there are so many nature related names, especially like you said water themed. For example: Damla (Water drop), Derya (Flood), Irmak (Stream), İnci (Pearl), Mercan (Coral), Su (Water) and the different combinations of Su (Gülsu - Rose Water, Aysu - Moon Water, Bengisu - Eternal Water etc.) but my favorite always be Ada (Island) because it can be easily pronounced by everyone without any hardship, it's universal

Only Gül is a comminish name. You'll see a Rüzgar and especially Kuzey very, very rarely. Turks can literally conjure a name from anything. It's not uncommon to make up a name from thin air. People call chilsren Toprak(Earth), Kaya(Rock), Su(Water) but not Hava(Air) for some reason.

By the way, in Turkey, it's perfectly natural to call your son Savaş(War), Cenk(Battle), Pusat(13th century steppe sword), Yiğit(Bold), Mert(Brave) and such.
