This guy was a creep and did not respect your boundaries. Holding the handshake for that long (at 2:30) is not normal in Turkish culture, it is something you would only do with an intimate partner. Sorry you had such an interaction.

"Sorun yok" literally means "No problem" (maybe you said that as a reflex of "mai pen arai" 😊). We only say that phrase to eliminate the possibility of a problem. Instead, you can always say "Yok, sağ ol" (No, thanks). This also covers the meaning of you don't want what they offer. Anyway, nice escape though 😅
