You are always so inventive in how you share savoury and sweet options for one ingredient. Pumpkin is delicious and I enjoy it more in savoury dishes. This recipe sounds delightful. The flavour of the onion would be wonderful with the sweetness of pumpkin. Thank you for all of your hard work to share this lovely recipe 🧡

Very interesting, both pumpkin and corn originate from the Americas!
@TFT17 сағат бұрын
You’re right! They are both from the Americas, but some cultures have combined their flavors for centuries! 😊

@TFT among indigenous peoples of the Americas, corn, beans, and squash (pumpkin) are known as the three sisters and have been eaten together for thousands of years. This dish would fit in well on any Native table.

By corn flour do you mean what is called cornmeal in the US? Here in Europe cornflour is what is called corn starch in the US.

I wonder if I can use sweet potato instead. I hate pumpkin

Yes! You can definitely swap the pumpkin for sweet potato in this recipe. They are very similar 😊
