Buy an ar from psa in pieces if u cant get it all at once. The lower is about 130. Upper 200 and bolt carrier about 80. Then get a decent optic for 100-200 10 pack of pmags is 90 and 500rnds of ammo is about 240-260 then get a sling and a few mag pouches and you are set. All in your easily under 1000 buks but over time its not that bad

It's worth my life to me, but ive found that my friends and loved ones would take my loss far worse than I would. I take that into consideration in regards to this. My plan is to defend as much of my section of town as possible if civil unrest starts happening here. I'm by myself though as far as I'm aware. One small advantage I think I have is that on the opposite side of my section of town from where civil unrest is most likely to occur, is a large section of woods with very few houses on the other side. So, most likely the threat will be coming uphill from one side which I can see far down into.
