My Upcoming new Jazz Piano Evolutions course is officially opening May 20th to Waitlisters Only!! www.neojazzacademy.com/jpewaitlist | The keyboard I'm using in this video is the Casio PX-S6000. ***Infinite Improv System Explained: This video contains a sneak peak at a brand new, full-on methodology I've put together to maximize the amount of ideas you can get from licks & voicings that you already know. Instead of having to constantly learn more vocabulary, I will be showing you to take the vocab you've already spent hours upon hours learning, and make it 10x more useful, and make you 10x more creative. The full system will be taught in my upcoming Jazz Piano Evolutions course.

Hey Noah was wondering if you might consider doing a tutorial on the style of Domi and JD Beck? Specifically those left hand ambiguous soaring bass lines.

Great video. Another recent strategy I've been practicing is splitting up the lick into two to three smaller licks. Then I take those patterns through 12 keys, as well as all of the chords in the song. I find this is helping me to ingrain smaller patterns into my mind, which makes it easier to start interesting phrases anywhere on the keyboard. We hear Herbie and want to play those marathon lines, however, if you dissect them you realize in many cases it is a collection of smaller patterns stringed together seamlessly.

We can all agree that not everyone is capable of doing improvisation it's a skill you need to have, and then you can master it by tutorials like this.

there's a weird "slapback" echo in the piano sound; I suggest tweaking your recording setup to try to remove that! great content though - appreciate it
