This in an excelent tutorial on how to make a simple, yet stylized, design using the pen tool. I'm new to illustrator, and I have just gotten the hang of the pen tool, but I didn't know how to adjust the line style. Thank you for the quality video!

This is amazing man ive only used photoshop and everything in illustator decided to mumble jumble it and was completely lost with this i was able to complete a logo i really needed

Thank you for your efforts. Great tutorial. Although I found your screen Resolution very small. Being an Illustrator virgin, I had to use a magnifying glass to see which buttons you were clicking. lol.

It's not necessary. I did it in this video to convert it to a path rather than a stroke. This provides for more compatibility when using it in other platforms, and it's also easier to stylize.

Hi, Nik I am very much impressed with your technique. I have a question suppose you show the technique a letter logo in and after applying that technique if I made any design with a different letter then would it will be a copyright allegation against me?
