Great videos! If you wanted to delve a bit further into examples, talking about Nasir would be great. I know I still get a bit mixed up with the terms "approach" and "encounter" since they are so close together. Keep up the good work!

Anthony Pearson Thanks! I'm very likely to make a whole video about the timing structure of a run. I probably won't focus on Nasir, but he'll come up at some point. I was originally going to include run timing in this video, but there were so many things that I wanted to cover that I chose to split them up into two videos.

Very nice presentation. The screwup mentioned already is a bit sad, cause this is certainly a quality source for intermediate players to learn this not so intuitive system. Maybe a small annotation as a "hotfix"?
@Willingdone9 жыл бұрын
Phijkchu_Cute_Phijkchu I was thinking about it, but I'm not sure if that would clarify or confuse. In the past, I've only used annotations if I'm wrong about something. In this case, it's not so much that I'm wrong as it is that I used a bad example. Maybe when I say "unless they have a way to bring Clot back," I could put in some text that said "if they have another Clone Chip, you could wait to use Cyberdex until the same window that you're going to score." Do you think that would help? EDIT: I put a note on the video. Let me know what you think.

Willingdone absolutely prefect. Very concice and non-intrusive

Great video as always. One minor point: isn't the worst case scenario for the corp to advance twice (instead of just once), thereby spending another credit and click, before retrieving the clot? Of course as the runner you only wait if you do not suspect that the corp is playing Shipment from SanSan or Trick of Light, or that the agenda is a 2/1. But in the right circumstance, having the corp burn another click really limits how they can react to the Clot play. Am I missing something?

Louis Desroches Yeah, you're right that the double advance situation would be worse. I'm assuming that most Runners would get it after the first advancement because of the issues that you pointed out. Under the right circumstance, it might be better to get it after multiple advancements. Most of the time, I'd say not.

Hi, I love your videos, one question when do I have the recurring credits of the root in phase 1.1 or in phase 1.2?
@Willingdone9 жыл бұрын
Jordi Blanch You get recurring credits immediately when you first rez the card and then at step 1.2 before you trigger any conditional abilities e.g. Pad Campaign's 1 credit. See page 4 of the FAQ for the full details. images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/android-netrunner/support/FAQ/Android-Netrunner%20FAQ.pdf

I'm surprised you missed the opportunity to show how to use Cyberdex to score through multiple clone chips.
@Willingdone9 жыл бұрын
crossbrainedfool Yeah, that was pointed out on Reddit as well. I should've used a better example with Cyberdex rather than re-using the example from earlier.

If I undersand it right with Cyberdex Virus Suit, you can wait untill,you advanced the card enough, and after your last action rez and trash Cyberdex Virus Suit and score the agenda wihtout giving your opponent a window to use Clone Chip.
@Willingdone9 жыл бұрын
Kyky87 Yeah, that's right. In the example I showed, the Runner didn't have a Clone Chip, but it's absolutely correct that you can wait to use the Cyberdex to avoid multiple Clone Chips.
