I have 2013 Kia Soul. The exterior front right turn signal light does not light up. The rear right turn signal flashes quickly as well as on the dash. The left turn signal front/rear flash normally. With the Hazards activated all the lights work including the exterior front right signal light. What do I need to replace or do? Yes, light bulb replaced.

You have a bunch of burnt out lights - some have a double filaments - put the left lights in the right side and you will prove it - it just appears to be confusing - its just a few burnt out lights - let me know how you make out

carquestions I don't have any burnt out lights. All the lights light up except the front right signal light. But it does light up when the Hazards are on. I also switched the right and left bulb sockets from the turn signals. The right side still does not light up.

Get a DVM or test light and check the sockets for power and ground - could be a bad ground - also when switching out lights, use the ones from the other side of the car - you know they work - good luck John

i have a 2013 kia sorento i came out this morning and the car wont start and the green hazard turn signal lights are flashing in the dashboard i put a battery charger on the battery and am waiting but in the meantime i could not get the flashers to turn off they are blinking rapidly and together two green arrrows

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes - also check all lights to see if burned out

How do you know which turning light bulb needs to be replaced ? on the dash board it says right or left but it does not say front or back. Thanks

You have to get out of the car to look at it functioning - anything unusual replace it

my issue is the front blinker on one side flashes quickly like the video shows. The rear bulb was replaced and it still does it. The opposite side works and functions just fine.

switch bulbs from left side of car to right and see if that makes a difference -

If all bulbs are working make sure you are using the right wat bulb for your car

Sounds like an earthing issue on either front or rear earth points for lights.

@@carquestions yes. When I was a lineman for a power company in Florida. We did lots and lots of under ground wire. One day we decided to fill in the ditch before we tested everything, we learned real quick never fill in the ditch till the very end.

You say that's it's not obvious if the light's burnt out by looking at it from the outside. Wouldn't it not turn on if it's burnt out? I think I have this problem on my Hyundai Accent but all the lights seem to still turn on.

Sometimes a bad light can still "turn on" but go out seconds later when your not looking because of a bad filament and movement like a bump

I got tired of switching and replacing bulbs, checking sockets, looking for the relay as opposed to the blinker flasher unit. Show me how to find it with an ohmmeter or some device. Now they both blink fast!!!

These are all very basic issues relating to the turn lights blinking rapidly. And almost everyone is aware of the root cause. Can anyone out there tell me how to troubleshoot turn signals nit functioning at all. Checked the fuses and they are good. Replaced the flasher relay which did not fix the issue. What else can go wrong? Please share your expertise. I have a 2013 Ford Figo 1.4 Diesel Titanium.

Start at the end and work backwards - so start at the light socket - do you have power? (test with a voltmeter) if yes then its the bulb or contacts - if no trace back to the next connection point - do you have power there? if yes then the problem is between there and the light socket if no go back to the next connection point and so on - eventually you will get back to the fuse, switch and main power source - its not magic - just tedious but you will find the problem - don't forget to check for rusty grounds as well as power

Bro I know this video is about 4 years old but never touch bulbs with your bare hands the oils in our hands make the bulbs wear out prematurely

On LED bulbs it don't matter. Standard bulbs will still last a while if not the same amount. It's the halogen lights which run really hot that will fail or even explosde if there's any presence of oil.

One mistake, don't touch the glass on the bulb, I know you know better then that, or you should, just saying people, unless you like changing bulbs of course.

Graham- That's for halogen type headlight bulbs - it's impossible of course to change a turn signal bulb without touching the glass part
