Goddamn S2J's defensive game is so refined. I would have definitely cracked in multiple of those pressure situations from Westballz and S2J was able to avoid the pressure where if he got hit 1 time, he most likely would have died.

Yep! It has projectile invincibility for a majority of the move's duration (starting on Frame 15). What I was saying there was meant to touch more on lasering the startup of Falcon's Raptor Boost where he can still be hit, as his profile changes and a high laser would miss.

how do you perform a frame-1 shield drop? Do you just absolutely need to either have the notches or know the angle, or is there another technique that is input as he's falling, similar to the basic "tilt shield to side, then slam down" beginner shield-drop technique.

srry for the late comment but is it weird while watching this all i could think about is someone fighting an sjw in a debate. if you see here he goes for a dear but if he would have gone for a bare he would have made the platform and tech to land on the platform. in this frame you can see the difference in how different characters fall after being hit in a frame.

We have the power to mod the game, removing the shy guys are extremely easy. Why don’t we utalize mods? No shy guys, no stadium transformations, no DL wind. Hell you could even reduce ledge invincibility and other changes to improve the game. UCF is the only mod we really use but there’s a lot more potential. Kinda got on an unrelated tangent but still, no more shy guys

It's a slippery slope, but certainly worth talking about! I can see both sides to the argument though, plus without Shy Guys we wouldn't have cool moments like these to break down!

turndownforwalt it’s a cool moment I’m not going to argue that, and I do understand the slippery slope argument. If we remove shy guys, why not add completely new stages? If we reduce ledge invincibility, fundamentally reworking a part of the game, why not buff low tiers? While I personally think those are good at least in concept, I can see the view of if we change melee too much it ceases to be melee

I'm so sorry about that! I'm not too sure if there's another way to do it, unless I were to incorporate more freeze frames into the sequence to stop the motion. It's something I'll consider in the future though!
