Well, it's "Birthmas Eve" and I am about to say goodbye to my 40s and see what 50s have to offer!
This past year has been the happiest and most love-filled time of my life and I can't wait to see what comes next!

Happy birthday! I just found your channel because I have been working on my Dodge Grand Caravan, loving it too. Congratulations on your 50th and on your life journey we have some things in common. I was also an empty nester. I sold my house in 2020 ~ people thought I was crazy but I bought an RV to spend my winter in British Columbia near my daughter, then camped at my off grid property for the summer. I reconnected with an old friend from my teens in the summer of 2021 and he has become the love of my life. I am also happy {most of the time} for the first time in my life. I have been at peace with things for a few years but I am now truly happy and also so grateful. My boyfriend is not much of a traveller or camper but supports me in my adventures. I look forward to seeing your RV adventures. I have been documenting my life as well and I really love making videos. Love your van, it’s a work of art ❤️ In other parallels I lost my parents when I was 30 and the only older relative left living is actually my mom‘s best friend who is 94 and planning to spend some time with her this winter in BC let me know if you’re ever out that way 💕

Yes isn’t it amazing that it’s never too late to find self love (or self care) and then the love of others. It’s not as if there aren’t still moments of struggle or self-doubt but I think that’s healthy and any truly conscientious person will always continue to doubt themselves a little bit here and there to make sure we keep ourselves in check. I find that some of the kindest most sweet people are the ones that doubt themselves versus the narcissists they never question. I started to have some wonderful times in the couple of years before my 50th and so far it’s only been getting better. It makes me so happy to know that you found that as well 💕

I have a sister and I do have a couple of aunts and various cousins but I am only really close to one cousin and the rest of my mother's side of the family isn't really a part of my life. I have an uncle by marriage that I am close to but that is about it. :)
