NDS screens are smaller lol. I have been playing on 3DS XL for more than 5 years and the ds and original 3ds are too small now (bad eyesight).

It’s a really cool project honestly, I would say if you had a old iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, IPhone 5s, or IPhone Se first gen It would be more portable. I had a iPhone se before and I had this cool accessory called the Moga Ace controller. It was built in controller for the iPhone se. It work well and had a built in battery and it was nice to hold. But great video !

Seriously I had a 4s and got Cydia and went to town on ipa's best part just around this time 7.0 ios came out bluetooth controler support came out so you dont have to spoof bluetooth drivers for six axis yes Six axsis ps3 wireless with the rubber ban clip...cool thing never had a slow down in emulation for 8 bit system heck even 16bit for iPhone smooth game play
