I never had any back issues until I got a little pot belly which was the end of a 8 pack Only 4 no show now days makes more strain on your spine which works together like the wires on a Suspension Bridge once a few cable are busted ( stomach muscles have given up ) Strain on other art carrying too much load give out Swimming will good way to gently repair your self and good support bed Really enjoyed your build video

After years of wanting to spend more time wandering around, and after much research , my family has unexpectedly grown. My plans have now evolved, and for the sake of a little bit more space and flexibility I have been looking at old horse trailers to convert to travel with.(although much smaller than the one you worked on). So this video of yours was quite timely for me. As someone who also has back issues, I could feel your pain. Ouch! I hope your back has long since healed! ✌🏼🙂

Thank you it has healed! I loved working on this horse trailer and wish i could have finished it. However they are reallly heavy and I am not sure if they are the best option for traveling with. strong but heavy..

People with horses travel with horse trailers every day. They are built to be very strong and capable of carrying a lot of weight. But it is safe to say that I weigh a lot less than a horse, so…. 😉

🙁 I hear you on the sneezing. I threw out my back once too from coughing too hard. I'm glad you took a break from this project and gave your body a chance to heal and can't wait for more future videos.

Haha yeah I felt pretty stupid hurting my back so bad sneezing. Working on a new van right now! Will finish it for sure unlike the horse trailer...

Yah it's so silly how something as simple as sneezing or coughing can do that to a person. Can't wait!

That trailer was cool, but working almost 12 hours a day, definitely wasn’t that 20 hours a week you guys expected. But you did all the hard stuff. It sucks you couldn’t finish it because I wanted to see the end result. Your channel is awesome. Just found it.

You guys are so awesome and have mad skills. You can do everything :-) How do you find these types of jobs and do you stay for free if you work on these farms?
@EliPetersonjp
@EliPetersonjp 5 жыл бұрын
Haha thanks so much, just a bunch of trial and error. We found this job through a website called workaway. You usually work about 20 hours a week and get free food and housing. Most jobs are farm work related but we were really happy to find this job

I feel for you eli, it is just days away from 2 year to the day i hurt my shoulder at work... After 15 months, i just quit my job after 15 years! I just wanted to heal...and go back to work! LOL. But at 55, now 56...i am looking at a part-time job, and at minimum wage...thank God i live in a van! ✌🐧

That is the great thing about living in a van. even if your income is low your living costs are just as low so you can still easily save money up. I am currently working on a new van to live in

sounds like a slipped disk, need a chiro. I had one (three years), it slows you down to tiny steps and it might be easy to get it in if in the lower back. I lay down straight bring over the top knee say to the right and force the top arm to the other side to make a crude x, sometimes it slips back in. Good luck with the pain.
