Omg I’m even laughing at myself!!! I’ve been learning this turn for weeks without luck! Second night in a row I look at your quick videos and I get the mechanics of turning down and I learned backwards skating yesterday !!! I love these videos !!!
Deb I love your long detailed videos cause they're way more helpful than anything else I've ever used for learning, but these speedy "quick and dirty" ones are sooo good to watch as I'm ready to practice cause with these im not standing in my skates in the middle of the road watching you explain things for 10 mins while already forgetting the first step haha! Just wanted to say thanks for covering all these topics in both video formats!!

You seriously have no idea how great of a person you are! Not only are you generous enough to give skating lessons to complete strangers online for free, but you're also one of the best teachers I've ever had. I had only gone skating twice before quarantine: on ice I couldn't move, on wheels I couldn't /stop/ moving (until, you know, the floor needed a hug) and now I've been skating every day just trying out your tutorials and I am so proud of myself. I can do so much!! And I'm not giving the floor as many "hugs"!! You are the best!!!! 😊💚

Its been 30 years since I've had skates on. Took my 14 year old and friends to her birthday skate party, I didn't skate but somehow had a strong desire to once again.
